Square Lacquered Sake Box / Sake Masu

Genuine lacquered square sake cup from Japan, also known as a sake masu or sake box. Usually used for cold sake, sip the sake out of one of the corners. These sake boxes are often used during ceremonies, but is a wonderful cup to enjoy sake in everyday!

Each sake cup mesures 3 1/4 inches square and 2 inches tall. The black laquer exterior has a gold Japanese "happiness" character on the front and a dark red color inside.
